Privacy Policy
The short version: We collect what you type into The Checked Mark so we can run your search, take payment, and email you. We use a few trusted service providers to do that. We don't sell your information, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
1. Who we are
This policy covers The Checked Mark (the "Service"), offered by Suazo Brand Law ("we," "us," or "our"). Contact: info@suazobrandlaw.com.
2. What we collect
- Search details: the brand name you check, what you sell, and, if you choose to give them, your website, social media handles, and the business or owner name on your trademark filings.
- Contact details: your email address and, on the waitlist, your first name and the brand name you're considering.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as your email, but never your full card number.
- Technical information: our hosting provider automatically records basic request information, such as IP address, browser type, and time of visit, to run and secure the Service.
The Service does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. It stores a small setting in your browser only during your visit if you use a private preview link.
3. How we use it
- to run your search and show your results;
- to process payment and prevent misuse, such as reusing a single payment for many searches;
- to send your results-related follow-up emails and, if you joined the waitlist, launch news;
- to respond to you if you contact us or book a consultation;
- to maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for others' advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
5. Artificial intelligence
Your search details are sent to an AI service to prepare your results. We use that service through its business offering and don't use your information to train our own models. Please don't enter confidential information you wouldn't want processed this way.
6. How long we keep it
We don't keep a separate database of searches. Email and related details stay in our email platform until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept by Stripe and by us as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.
7. Your choices
- Unsubscribe: use the link at the bottom of any email.
- Access or delete: email us to ask what we have about you, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, and we'll honor requests as required by law.
8. Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to your information, but no online service can be completely secure.
9. Children
The Service is meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the current one.
